Flexible plate couplings of MSK type

A connecting coupling transferring torque moment compensates the radial and angular misalignments of shafts by means of elastic deformation of thin metal plate.

Advantages 

Design features of the coupling of MSK type produced by Turbomash provide several benefits of its use: 1. Compensation of relatively small mutual displacements of shafts; 2. Absorption of axial and bending loads transmitted on the connecting shaft by means of vibration isolation qualities; 3. Lack of lubrication of mechanically sliding surfaces and as the consequence there will be the phenomenon of biting; 4. Reducing the vibration of rotor in 2-2,5 times on housing and other machines while using in conjunction with bearing PDO (see “Main products”). Dynamic stability of the unit allows you to increase the stability and reliability of its work and service life. Moreover the necessity of change of component parts eliminates (wear and tear under influence of constant vibration).

Main characteristics

High-precision manufacture of alloy constructional steel by a special technology allows using of the MSK couplings by high-speed machines. The design of couplings is chosen individually depending on the location of installation (couplings with solid or composite spacer) and features of the client company (general industrial or explosive manufacture). All products are produced according to the technical specifications required by the customer. It excludes the need of additional installation work and commissioning of equipment.

Application

It is applied for compressor and pumping facilities, including the compressors of natural gas, air, ammonia and other used at the chemical plants.
